They form double bond. The bond between two atoms of Oxygen is 2 because the valence of oxygen is 6, and to follow octet rule it needs 2 more electrons. So they take 2 electrons from each other i.e., 6+2=8.

Non Polar covalent bond is formed  when oxygen atoms bond together in O_2

Explanation:

A covalent bond is formed when an element shares its valence electron with another element. This bond is formed between two non metals.

A polar covalent bond is defined as the bond which is formed when there is a difference of electronegativities between the atoms. Example: HF

A non polar covalent bond is defined as the bond which is formed when there is no difference of electronegativities between the atoms. Example: O_2
