When two resistance are connected in parallel the
equivalent resistance is 6/5ohm When one of the
resistance is removed then the effective resistance is
2 ohm The resistance of the wire removed will be
(a) 3 ohm
(b) 2 ohm

Answer:

3 ohm.

Let the other resistance be K ohm.

If second resistance is removed, eff. resistance = 2 ohm.

2K / 2 + K = 6/5. K = 3 ohm.

Hope this helps...
