resistance in series =R1+R2
effective resistance is 12/I².......(1)
when they are in parall
effective resistance is 1/R1 +1/R2
so, effective resistance is R/2
now take the power ,P is 50/I²*2 .......(2)
now you can easily solve the matter by yourself.
Answer is 12:50 or 6:25.
is that right???????
