When two resistors are connected in series their effective resistance is 45 ohms. When they are connected in parallel, their effective resistance is 10 ohms. What are the values of the two resistances?​

Answer:

let the first resistor be of x ohm

let the second resistor be of y ohm

A.T.P ,

x + y = 45

1/x + 1/y = 1/10

Equate these two and you will get your answer.
