R₁ ± ΔR₁ = 800 ± 8

R₂  ± ΔR₂  = 600 ± 6

R + ΔR - Equivalent resistance in parallel

1/R   =   1/R₁  + 1/R₂

=> 1/R  = 1/800 + 1/600

=> 1/R = ( 3 + 4)/2400

=> 1/R  = 7/2400

=> R = 2400/7   = 342.857

ΔR / R²  = ΔR₁ /R₁²  + ΔR₂ /R₂²  

=> ΔR / (2400/7)²  =  8/800²   +  6/600²

=> ΔR / (2400/7)² =   (8 * 3²  + 4² * 6) / 2400²

=> ΔR (49 ) = ( 72 + 96)

=> ΔR  = 168 /49

=> ΔR  = 24 /7

=> ΔR = 3.42857  

equivalent resistance = 2400/7 ± 24/7

or 342.857  ±  3.42857
