HEY!!

____________________________

▶️When the resistors  are connected in series: Rs = R1 + R2

▶️When the resistors  are connected in parallel: -

1/Rp = 1/R1 + 1/R2

▶️So by substituting the given values we will get two equations as

▶️R1 + R2 = 16  -----------(1)

▶️R1×R2 = 3 (R1 + R2), using above equation

▶️R1×R2 = 48   ------------(2)

▶️Now from equations (1) & (2)

▶️We can get two possible pairs for the values of the resistors(R1,R2):-

▶️▶️(4,12) and (12,4)
