now, we need to find d (distance between two slits)

here, we know that

x = λD/d

and by re arranging the formula we get:

d = λD/x

=> d= 6 x 10⁻⁷ x 2 / 0.7 x 10⁻² m ( 1 cm = 10⁻² m)

=> d= 12 x 10⁻⁴ /7 = 1.714 x 10⁻⁴ m = 0.1714 mm
