When two substances 'P' and 'Q' were combined to form another substance 'R'

the following observations were recorded.'

(a) When 'P' and 'Q' combined, large amount of heat was evolved.

(b) Properties of 'R' are found to be different from 'P' and 'Q'.

from the given observations, try to predict the nature of the substance 'R'. Also
