When we write on a glass sheet the friction is much lesser than on board so when we write on board it is no clear

The glass sheet is a smooth surface. Hence the interlocking of two surfaces may not be possible in it. So chalk Cannot settle in the valleys of the surface of glass

A glass has a very smooth surface. when we rub the chalk to write on glass, it doesn't generate enough friction for the chalk to write.
Thus we are not able to write properly on glass with a chalk.
However some characters may appear as little friction is present on any surface.
