Answer:The constitution was adopted on 17 November 1956 and came into force on 26 January 1957. The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir was rendered infructuous by The Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 2019 (C.O. 272) issued by the president of India on 5 August 2019.
