Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were ordered to hang on 24th March 1931, but then it was preponed by 11 hours. In Lahore jail at 7.30 pm on 23rd March 1931 they were hanged to death. They were actually arrested on charges of sedition. Bhagat Singh was arrested because of the bombing in Parliament. Rajguru and Sukhdev were arrested in relation to Kakori Conspiracy. But all three were sentenced to death because they murdered a British Officer.
