The birthplace of Chanakya is not perfectly known.
It’s usually always the case that very little reliable information is available about a famous figures’s early life.

But one thing for sure, Chanakya lived in the 4th cent. B.C. He grew up and received his early education in the city of Pataliputra, the capital city of Nanda Empire.
