The Tennis Court Oath was taken in 20th June, 1789.

During the old Regime, the members of the Third estate took this Tennis Court oath where they vow - "not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established".

This was a turning point in the history of French Revolution.
