In 1791 after the tennis oath , and revolt in Bastille Louis XVI forms a constitutional monarchy in which constitution was there but king was having VETO power .

morning of August 10 Jacobins captured king and on 21 September 1972 monarchy was abolished (but reign of terror started )

on 21 January 1793 Louis XVI was executed in palace de la concorde

then comes directory rule then Napoleon Bonaparte
