When was the word armed rebellion added in the constitution?

The words "in respect of the whole of India ... in the proclamation" were addedby the Constitution (42nd Amendment) Act, 1976 while the words "armed rebellion" were substituted by the Constitution (44th Amendment) Act, 1978 for the words "internal disturbance".

The Federal Government may call out the militia in case of civil war; its authority to suppress rebellion is found in the power to suppress insurrection and to carry on war. The act of February 28, 1795, 1786 which delegated to the President the power to call out the militia, was held constitutional.
