d) HEAT IS GIVEN OUT AND TEMP. REMAINS CONSTANT

This is because of latent heat of vaporization i.e hidden heat.

This heat is used in breaking the intermolecular force of attraction in water to change liquid to gas. Therefore temp. remains constant but heat is given out.
