to find : if I've melts in to water how much it will decrease in volume .

  • solution: Now we have given volume increase by 10 percentage
  • so let the volume of the water be 100 ml
  • than after freezing the water it becomes 110 ml according to the question.
  • Now when it's melted again it will be 100ml
  • so when decreasing

110 -100=10ml

so there fore , the decreasing percentage will be

=( 10 /110) *100

=1000/110

=100 / 11 %

=9. 09%

Answer = If ice into water 9. 09 % will it decrease in volume.
