hi mate,
when water freezes it gets converted to a solid state in simple words it becomes an ice and water's density decreases. As ice floats on water.
hope this helps you
plz mark as brainliest!
thank you

Water is most important requirement on earth. It requires to all animals human beings for their personal needs.
Probably all liquids have same quality when they freeze they shrink .
But in case of water this is totally different if water is freezed it increase in volume or or decrease in density .Thus, we called the anomalous behaviour of water .
The property which is totally different from other is known as anomalous behaviour.
While freezing the temperature of water goes upto 4℃.
When water is freezes it volume is expand while its density decreases
Because the density is equal to mass and volume as the volume increase or ho up so the density is decreases or go down.
HOPE THIS ANSWER HELP YOU.
THANK YOU.
