so the question arises that, what make the loss in weight?

actually, when any body is dipped in the liquid then, some upward force act on that body that is perpendicular to it. This upward force is called as buoyant force or upthrust.

so when the body is dipped in a liquid, then this force acted perpendicular to that body , and this Buoyant force causes the loss in weight.

so because of the buoyant force, the loss in weight can be seen.
