When we add acid or Base in water it evolves so much of heat.is it a chemical change or physical change?support your answer with a reason

It is a chemical change since heat cannot be evloved in a physical change without any external source.

It is a chemical change as chemical reactions involves the production of heat but physical change does not as it includes only the change of size ,shape ,appearance etc.
