when we are able to see india from space,we are unable to see america.why?

We are able to see india from space we are unable to see the america. we know that the earth is in spherical shape.so if we can see one side of the earth which is opposite to our face ,we cannot see the other side of the earth . as the america is situated opposite side of the earth to india, when we can see the india we are unable to see america
