when we divide a decimal no. with a non decimal no. so how to know that after how many numbers do we have to put decimal point in answer ​

so now we are going to divide it with 2.

so first count the no. of digits after the decimal point( here it is 3)

and then divide it with 2

we will get answer as 4.086

now here if you look there are exactly 3 digits after the decimal point just like the question
