When we do insufflation { one person blows air to others mouth ( rescue breathing ) in emergency}.
Then why are we blowing carbon dioxide into his mouth because we well know that we exhale to give out carbon dioxide??

Look we only do insufflation when a person is not able to breathe means that no oxygen is supplied to his body.
Our inhaled breath and exhaled breath contains - (Look in figure, not exact but will give you an idea)
So rather than having no oxygen supply at all, we are giving him some amount of oxygen so he could survive and regain consciousness.
