The co2 gas present in the soft drink is under pressure .. and thus it comes out as soon as v open the soft drink bottle

When we drink a soft drink with straw , the liquid rises up in the straw. Reason:-
When we suck air from the straw , vaccum is created inside the straw.
This vaccum forces the liquid to come out from the straw. The reason for this is that , due to the difference in atmospheric pressure , the liquid , is forced to rise , from the place where atmospheric pressure is low , to the place where the pressure is high.
Hence , the liquid rises up in the straw .
