Answer:

When falling from a tall height onto say water is like hitting concrete after around 250 ft.

The reason behind this is the way water is structured, water is a loose collection of atoms and molecules that create a liquid, now if you want to have an example of what i'm talking about fill a tub or sink of water and slap it as hard as you can. feels like you're hitting a wall, right? Its because you technically are, when you hit the water with your mass spread out it forces the atoms together into a thick “plate“ effectively speaking your body mass is forcing the loose atoms of the water to stack on top of each other creating a “solid”. Add on the force of gravity pulling on you and you're effectively falling onto concrete at an extreme speed. In comparison it's like jumping off a 12 story building. You could survive by maybe putting your feet or hands first in a diving position but your limbs would most surely break and the possibility of you losing consciousness is high, if you do survive the fall your inability to swim or lack of consciousness will kill you.
