When we mix Primary colour lights(Red,Green,Blue) we get white light but when we mix Primary colour pigment why do we get black colour....?

'primary coloured lights' are complementary to each other when any two of them are mixed they will give white colour not pigments when mixed overlaps each other and covers one other on itself hence no colour is seen .
hence no colour is referred as black or brown.
