In the seed of a dicot plant, we see two cotyledons which store food for the embryo to grow into a plant.
The two parts inside the embryo of a dicot plant are
- Radicle
- Plumule
Radicle grows into roots towards the soil whereas plumule grows into a stem or shoot above the ground.
