Due to the liberation of carbondioxide cominf the carbonated or soda water. the prsseure of the soda bottle is very high comparing to the pressure of outside . so when the bottle is opened the excess pressure tends to come out and carbondioxide is realeased in the form of bubbles.

"When we open the cap of a cola drink excess of bubbles come out because the drink comprises too much of carbon dioxide and when the pressure is released by opening the bottle, we get a huge amount of bubbles.

Carbonated drinks and soda water contains carbon dioxide dissolved under pressure. When the container or bottle is opened, soda liquid cannot hold the carbon dioxide when the pressure is released by "opening the soda container", therefore, the excess gas bubbles come out of the soda solution.

If the soda remains open, extra carbon dioxide slowly flows into the air. The "carbon dioxide" exits the solution at a faster rate in warm conditions."
