Hey there !
If you run an electric current on pure H2O (water), nothing happens because water is a great insulator*, it would just simply repel the flow of electricity hence you cannot “mix” them.
*Note: The reason why water seem to be a conductor is because to the minerals present in the water. Those minerals conduct electricity but not water itself. :D
