when we pour cold water over the can half filled ud with hot water that can slowly get crumpled why? so with the help of an activity that air exerats pressure​

When tin filled with hot water some part of tin filled with water but remaining part fill with water vapour. when we pour cold water over the tin the water vapour condense and change into liquid water and a vacuum is created inside the tin the atmospheric pressure apply force on tin due to which tin collapsed.
