When we pour water on a lump of soil, bubbles come out of it. Why?​

Water under pressure holds more air than water that is not pressurized. Once the water comes out of your tap, the water is no longer under pressure and the air comes out of solution as bubbles

The action of adding water pushes the air into the soil. as you know soil contains air , so when soil is in water bubbles come out from soil . bubbles occur when water is poured in water because soil contain air,to show the presence of air in soil this is done.
