when we put onion peel in dilute solution it swells whereas RBCs bursts. why?

because ONION CELL is plant cell and has cell wall which prevents it from bursting ...
but RBC is animal cell which doesn't have cell wall so.. ultimately it Bursts as it is unable to tolerate such high turgor/ osmotic pressure due to swelling...

Because plants have cell wall and osmotic pressure is balanced by wall pressure and hence it does not burst
on the other hand RBC is an animal cell down not have cell wall
