When we remove the lid of a bottle of soda water, bubbles fizz out of it because

  • The soda water is carbonated. Carbon Dioxide is forced under high pressure into the soda. It's this fizzy sound of carbonated drinks that makes the experience complete.
  • After pressurising carbon dioxide into soda water it's sealed. Till the time it's sealed properly carbon dioxide remains stable.
  • If the bottle is shaken and the cap gets opened the Carbon Dioxide bubbles start bursting.
