When we say 2 raised to the power 3 we mean 2 multiplied by itself 3 times but when we say 2 raised to the power of √3, do we mean 2 multiplied by itself √3 times? Does that even make sense?

no a power is always a positive no. if it is said that 2^√3 then √3 is a irrational no. therefore it doesn't make sense
Hope u understood
thanks
