When we stand on loose sand , our feet go deep into the sqnd but when we lie down our bOdy does not go deep in the sand . Give reason

This is because , pressure is inversely proportional to area.
When the area is smaller, the pressure is greater and when the area is larger the pressure is smaller.
While standing on loose sand ,the area of our feet is smaller, therefore, the pressure is greater and we go deep in the soil but when we lie down the area of our body is larger, therefore it exerts a smaller pressure and we do not go deep in the soil

when we stand on loose stand the force that's is the weight of our body is acting on an area equal to the area of your feet. when you lie down the force acts on an area equal to the contact area of your whole body, which is larger than the area of Ur feet . thus the effect of force of the same magnitude on different areas are different
