When we step on a snail it is not killed by one step but a cockroach is killed, this is because cockroaches don't have any sort of outer protection unlike snails which have a hard shell around there back so since a cockroach doesn't have this shell it is easily killed but if we step on a snail then first the shell breaks and then only the main bod is exposed
