speed decrease because of the gravitional force pulls it down

neha549: mere book me likha tha ki ye khna galat hoga ki object uniform motion me chalta rhega jb tk external force act nh hoga
neha549: jbki ye shi tb hoga jb ye likha Ho ki air resistance aur friction ko chhod ke agar baat kiya jae to shi hoga
neha549: Bt according to me jb net force zero ho to constant speed me move karega
neha549: for example jb boat float karta h to wo constant speed me move krta h kyunki uska weight aur upthrust dono balance hoke zero Ho jata h
saumy5: force and pressure
neha549: kya apko samajh aya
neha549: objects constant speed me move kar skta h
neha549: I hope u understood
saumy5: yes
neha549: OK any more question

Obviously, The speed of the ball would increase first due to the application of muscular force due to throwing.

After certain height the speed of the ball will start to decrease as a result of gravitational pull by the Earth and eventually the ball will come down.

I hope this helps.
