When we walk, we push earth by, suppose x Newtons, so force applied both on the earth as well on us is x Newtons. But we move and not the earth because of our too much less mass as compared to the earth. [9/29, 10:18 PM] Sushant: But when two body - A and B both of 40 kg. When A pushes B with 100N. Then why does B move but not A because both the objects have same mass and both are experiencing 100N. (Doubt came from when we push one another)

Explanation:

see theoretically both must acquire same acceleration but in practice A must have more friction beneath hence 100N of A is balanced by the frictional force.
