Answer:

At a higher depth there is greater pressure.

This is because pressure in a liquids increases with depth.

To understand this clearly you can do a demonstration for it.

We do this as follows :

1) Make three holes at different depths on a container.

That is one hole at the top most, the other one at the middle and the other one at the bottom.

2) Temporarily block these holes using your fingers and fill the container with water.

3) Release your fingers from the holes Simultaneously and let the water flow.

You realize that the hole at the bottom projects water the furthest thus illustrating that at a greater depth there is high pressure.

Therefore at 200cm below the surface , the diver experiences a greater pressure.

Answer:

  1. THE PRESSURE OF WATER WILL DEPEND ON THE DEPTH OF WATER AND IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO IT.
  2. BECAUSE IN DEPTH THERE IS MORE VOLUME OF WATER OVER OUR BODY.
  3. SO PRESSURE WILL INCREASE BELOW THE SURFACE OF 200 METRE.
