As per UN Report India would be most populous Country by 2024.
The UN report predicted in 2015 that India would become most populous state by 2022 but in its latest Report in 2017 it predicted India would surpass China in 2024 and would become most populous country.
The present population of India is 1.34 billion and constitutes 18% of total world population. By 2024, the population of India would be more than 1.41 billion and thus would be most populous country.
