There are many predictions about the end of the world but many of them have already expired. Scientifically Earth's lifespan is dependent on that of the sun but negatively speaking it can be destroyed even before due to a sudden catastrophic event or positively speaking it can live even longer if we find a way to revive the sun. Mythologicalically whenever the world runs out of humanity it's destroyed and then is created again from whatever is left behind.
