Hey Friend........

Here is your answer.....

_____________________________________________________________

A Compound is a substance that is formed when two or more elements combine in the constant ration chemically. The properties of the compound are different from the properties of the constituent elements.

Examples: Liquid water is the compound made up of two completely different gaseous elements - hydrogen and oxygen. The properties of water are entirely different from those of hydrogen and oxygen. Different elements can combine with one another to form millions of compounds.
