  1. we will say that a body is in uniform acceleration when it covers equal distance in equal interval of time or it accelerates equally for a period of time.
  2. we will say that a body is in non uniform acceleration when the acceleration is not equal for a period of time that is it changes continuously, either increases or decreases .

(i) Uniform acceleration: When a body travels with the same velocity in the given time, then the acceleration is said to be uniform.

(ii) Non-uniform acceleration: When a body moves with unequal velocity in the equal interval of time, the body is said to be moving with non-uniform acceleration.
