A body is said to be in Uniform motion when it covers equal distances in equal intervals of time.
A few examples of Uniform motion are – Rotation and revolution of earth, movement of the blades of a fan etc.
Also, the distance-time graph of uniform motion shows straight line.
A body is said to be in Non-Uniform motion when it covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time.
A few examples of Non-Uniform motion are – Oscillation of pendulum, a running person etc.
Also, the distance-time graph of non-uniform motion shows curved line.
