(i) Uniform- acceleration: When the rate of change of velocity of an object is equal in the intervals of time then we can say the body is in uniform acceleration. Eg- A body falling under the influence of gravity.

(ii) Non-uniform acceleration: When the rate of change of velocity of an object is different in same intervals, then we can say that the body is in non-uniform acceleration. Eg-  Car moving in a crowded street.
