If a body travels in a straight line and its velocity changes by equal amounts in equal intervals of time, however small these time intervals may be, then the body is said to be in uniform acceleration.

The acceleration is said to be uniform (or constant ) when equal changes in velocity take place in equal intervals of time. The motion of a body under gravity(e.g. free fall of a body ) is an example of uniformly accelerated motion.
On the other hand,Variable acceleration or non-uniform acceleration occurs if the change in velocity is not same in same intervals of time. The motion of a vehicle on a crowded or hilly road is with variable acceleration.
Hope that's what you needed....
