when writing a story for the board exam should it be written in 1st person , 2nd person or 3rd person ?

it depends on what topic or genre of the story is given to u.. suppose if u have to complete a story then u have to write it as 3rd person. or writing about somebody then 2nd or if its like an incident which u have to express then it should be first
