Let x-1=0
x=1
using remainder theorem
put x=1 in given polynomial
we get
x^3-6x^2+3
=1-6+3
=-2
Hence remainder will be -2

Question :
when x³ - 6x² + 3 divided by x-1 . What will be the remainder

Solution :

here f(x) =  x³ - 6x² + 3
        f(1) = 1³  - 6× 1² + 3
              = 1 - 6 + 3
              = -2

Hence -2 will be the remainder
