when you add water to sulfur dioxide and put blue litmus in its, why does it turn red​

when water is added to Sulphur dioxide then sulphuric acid is formed so because sulfuric acid is a acid so it will turn blue litmus paper into red because acid turn the litmus paper from blue to red and bases turn the litmus paper from red to blue
