Here is your answer

  • When you are carrying your backpack, You are applying force to your bag in upward direction.
  • But, your displacement is in horizontal direction, making an angle between Force and displacement = 90°

Since, W = FS cos Theta

  • theta = 90°
  • Hence , cos 90 = 0 , then W = 0J
  • Therefore, work done is zero
